About

Welcome to my secluded life in the hills of New Hampshire! I’m the mother of one, grandmother of five, and wife to playwright Buzz McLaughlin, whom I married two weeks after our graduation from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. We live high atop a 25-acre, wooded ridge overlooking Mount Monadnock to the south and the Green Mountains to the west in a house that Buzz designed and we built over a period of many years. In my blog I write about how all that happened. I also write about what I’m currently thinking about, which often is health and food. Or books. Or what Buzz and I are working on as writers.

Right now we’re both involved in writing projects for The Merry Beggars, the entertainment division of Relevant Radio – me as a writer for The Saints series and he as Script Consultant. (He also has private clients for writers working on screenplays, theatrical scripts, and novels. His website is buzzmclaughlin.com. To check out The Saints series, just go here: relevantradio.com, thesaintspodcast.com or themerrybeggars.com.

I also have a vintage Etsy shop, which you can find here as well as on my Shop tab at the top of these pages.

If you have a minute, I’d love to hear from you (see the Contact tab). I might not be able to answer right away, but I will – thanks for stopping by!
